Animals Have Feelings To

John Deere and Coontail Napping Together

Have you ever looked at your animal and wondered what goes through their mind? Some people treat pets as their babies, a part of the family. Others, unfortunately, treat them as kicking and punching bags. There is nothing sadder than seeing an animal or human abused.

If they wag their tails and act excited to see you, then they must feel happiness, excitement, and loneliness. If they cower down, then they must feel fear and security. I am not saying when they are afraid, they feel secure. I simply mean to feel fear is the opposite

of security. They would not be afraid had they never felt secure. They start feeling safe when born, laying next to their mother, feeling her warmth.

Animals did not ask to be born, no more than a child ever asked to be born. They have feelings, hopes, and fears, just as we do. Please do not ever let anyone harm an animal. They are here for us to love and protect. If they need a small spanking, they have a behind. Do not punch or slap them in their head. Do not kick them. Thank God, this is now a felony, just as it should be.

Animals are medicine to the bones. They help us more than we sometimes recognize. Children benefit from having animals in their life, as it teaches them love and responsibility. Elders could use the company, it helps with their loneliness. They let us know if something is wrong in our surroundings and they help people with special needs.

Please love your animals and be kind to them. Feed stray animals and try to find good homes for them. They need us and can provide much-needed enjoyment. There is nothing better than having one curl up next to you, purring with love.
